Akzo Nobel has revealed plans to move its corporate headquarters from Arnhem, The Netherlands, to Amsterdam. The relocation, which will involve approximately 100 people, is expected to take place in July.
Bostik, Wauwatosa, WI, recently acquired Dupont de Nemours adhesives business for the flexible packaging market. This 22 million Euros business, operating under the Herberts® brand, owns strong technologies supporting a leading position on this market. This acquisition reinforces the presence of Bostik in flexible packaging by extending both its product range and its geographic coverage.
Dyneon, Oakdale, MN, recently announced the acquisition of parent company 3M’s Bioanalytical Technologies business, including the EmporeTM Solid Phase Extraction family of products. The Bioanalytical Technologies business and Empore products will be integrated into Dyneon and will augment Dyneon’s fluoroplastics, fluoroelastomers and specialty additives lines, as well as provide new opportunities for growth for the Empore family of products.
Flowserve, Dallas, has announced the opening of a new administrative headquarters for its Flow Solutions Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMA) operations. Located in Essen, Germany, the facility houses a Quick Response Center (QRC) that provides local sales, service, support and manufacturing of seals and associated products, as well as a Learning Resource Center (LRC) that offers best-practices maintenance training programs for pumps and seals for employees and customers.
Hockmeyer Equipment Corp., Harrison, NJ, has announced an agreement with MorehouseCowles, Chino, CA, to represent Hockmeyer’s milling, particle analysis and tank washing equipment. MorehouseCowles assumes territorial responsibilities that cover the western U.S., including Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
