INTERPOLYMER Expands Activities in Asia
With the opening of a sales office and laboratories in Shanghai, China, INTERPOLYMER has announced plans to provide improved customer services in the Asia-Pacific region. INTERPOLYMER Shanghai is located in a two-story building in the XuHui Functional Materials Research Park. The fully equipped Research and Customer Service laboratory will be ready for operation in January 2008. Staffing of the facility will be completed within the next few months.
"With these expanded capabilities, we will now be able to provide more extensive support to our customers in Asia in the use of our aqueous polymer dispersions and also be more responsive to local needs,” said Wim van Drunen, technical director responsible for customer support in Europe and Asia. “We will also augment our laboratory teams in Europe and the U.S. who have, until now, had total responsibility for the development and testing of our products.”
The INTERPOLYMER group develops and manufactures specialty acrylic dispersions designed for specific uses and commercialized under the trade names of SYNTRAN® and MEGATRAN®.
