Michelman CTO Elected to Industrial Research Institute Board
Michelman recently announced that company chief technology officer Rick Michelman, Ph.D., has been elected to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors at the 
Industrial Research Institute (IRI). The IRI “is an authoritative source of R&D innovation leadership solutions for its member companies since 1938” whose mission is “to enhance the effectiveness of technological innovation by networking the world’s best practitioners and thought leaders to seek, share, learn, and create.”
“I am honored to accept this position on the board at the IRI,” Michelman said. “I believe it speaks to our own passion for innovation and customer service. The collaborative approach the institute takes to R&D is consistent with the approach we take here at Michelman. I look forward to working with and learning from the rest of the Board, as well as IRI membership.”
