Pilot Chemical Co. recently announced it has made two changes to its board of directors, effective immediately. Its board has elected veteran attorney John R. Brantley as a director and longtime director Bob Cellura as its first director emeritus.

As a partner in the Houston office of international law firm Bracewell LLP, Brantley advises public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate governance. He has provided invaluable legal counsel to Pilot Chemical for more than 13 years.

Cellura has served on the board since 2006. He joined the board upon his retirement from Pilot, where he served in executive roles for more than 20 years.

“Bob will continue to be a resource to the board by providing valuable insights and comments based upon his long history with the chemical industry, Pilot and Pilot’s board of directors,” said Paul Morrisroe, chairman. “We are all very pleased to have that continuing relationship.
