Two new fast-curing acrylate adhesives are now available: ARALDITE® 2050 and 2051. The adhesives are reportedly designed to accelerate on- and off-site bonding, even under extreme temperature and humidity. The adhesives can bring wide-ranging processing benefits to assembly, maintenance and repair bonding operations in the bus and truck, railway, wind, and marine industries, as well as general industrial applications.

“Huntsman has a long heritage in high-performance adhesives and we continue to innovate, as we look to grow our already wide-ranging adhesives portfolio in line with the latest industry trends and customer needs,” said Nastassja Kelley, global strategic marketing director, Transportation and Industrial. “From speaking with both users and specifiers, it was clear that many are under pressure to achieve gains in productivity, while also facing more challenging applications such as the need to bond mixed materials. Easy-to-use, with little training or surface preparation required, acrylate adhesives are becoming increasingly popular as a result.”
