Sika recently announced it has fully acquired HPS North America Inc., a supplier of building finishing materials located in the United States.

Sika has acquired Cromar Building Products, a supplier of roofing systems in the UK that mainly serves its customers through the distribution channel. 

As part of its portfolio optimization in the Consumer Brands business, announced in February 2022, Henkel signed an agreement to sell its Retailer Brands business in North America to an affiliate of First Quality Enterprises LLC.

Westlake Innovations Inc., a subsidiary of Westlake Corp., has invested in Universal Matter Inc., based in Burlington, Ontario. 

The global chemical company OQ Chemicals has sold its Dutch esters plant in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, to Perstorp Group.
