BASF has finalized the purchase of DOMO Chemicals’ 49% share in the Alsachimie joint venture, making BASF the sole owner.

APPLIED Adhesives has completed its acquisitions of HG Adhesive Dispensing and BTmix, both located in Carson City, Nevada. 

The acquired company manufactures a wide range of construction chemical products and has a strong standing in the fast-growing Qatar construction market.

Covestro announced that the company has signed an agreement to acquire Pontacol, a Swiss manufacturer of multilayer adhesive films. 

RPM International Inc. announced the acquisition of Ready Seal Inc., a Texas-based manufacturer of premium exterior wood stains, for its Rust-Oleum business in the Consumer Group. 

Aditya Birla Group has agreed to purchase Cargill’s specialty chemicals business based in Dalton, Georgia. 

Advanced composite materials innovator Mako Advanced Materials, Henderson, Nevada, has acquired PTM&W Industries, a California-based manufacturer of composite resin systems, tooling products, adhesives, and coatings. 

The Pink Stuff is now part of the Consumer Group’s Rust-Oleum cleaners business at RPM.

Azelis has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the distribution business of a Mumbai-based distributor of performance chemicals for the CASE markets in India.

Private equity firm Bertram Capital announced on April 15 that it has made an investment in Applied Products Inc. (APPLIED Adhesives).
