Sika has closed the transaction related to the divestment of its European industrial coatings business to The Sherwin-Williams Co. 

Builder confidence in the market for newly built single-family homes moved two points lower to 79 in March from a downwardly revised reading in February, according to a recent National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index (HMI).

Matrix Adhesives Group recently announced that it has completed its acquisition of Lohnpack Contract Filling, a niche provider of packaging and filling capabilities located in Hamilton, N.J. 

Noninvasive glucose monitoring devices are not currently commercially available in the U.S., so people with diabetes must collect blood samples or use sensors embedded under the skin to measure their blood sugar levels. With a new wearable device created by Penn State researchers, however, less-intrusive glucose monitoring could become the norm.
