Editor's Memo: Potpourri
We've got lots of exciting things happening: the annual Dispensing & Curing Equipment Directory, the ASI Top 25 and the ASI Readers' Choice Awards.
I have so much exciting information to share with you that I almost don’t know where to start. First things first: this issue of ASI features our annual Dispensing and Curing Equipment Directory. The chart-style directory includes supplier companies* and contact information for various types of dispensing equipment. Details on filling and curing equipment are also included. In addition, Red Super Star listings indicate display advertisers in this issue. Complementary editorial in this issue focuses on meter/mix/dispense, filling and curing, among other topics.
We’ve begun gathering information in order to prepare our annual exclusive ASI Top 25 listing of the leading worldwide manufacturers of adhesives and sealants, which will be featured in the August 2014 issue. In order to be considered for inclusion, companies are invited to complete a brief survey at www.adhesivesmag.com/ASITop25form. This is by far our most popular article of the year, and we’d love to hear from as many of you as possible. And last (but certainly not least), submissions for the second annual ASI Readers’ Choice Awards are now open! Companies can enter their best-of-the-best product(s) in three categories: Raw Materials/Chemicals, Formulated Adhesives/Sealants, and Equipment. Entries include a photo and a brief description explaining the merits of the product. Companies may also choose to include an optional video showcasing their product’s benefits (additional cost applies). Entries must be submitted online by July 31.
ASI readers will vote online between August 15 and September 30. Award winners will be featured in the November 2014 issue of ASI, on our social media platforms, in ASI eNews, and on www.adhesivesmag.com immediately after the winners are announced. If a video is supplied as part of a winning submission, that video will be featured on our website for one year.
