Submissions Open for Polyurethane Innovation Award
Applications for the 2022 Polyurethane Innovation Award are being accepted through June 16, 2022. This award, which is presented by the American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI), recognizes companies and individuals whose determination and vision bring to market innovative, life-enhancing products, technologies, and initiatives.
“Last year’s conference was an exciting and successful return to in-person interaction, and with it came the return of our long-standing tradition of honoring the polyurethane industry’s top trailblazers for their transformative and visionary innovations,” said Lee Salamone, senior director, CPI. “Polyurethanes remain critical to helping improve our quality of life through providing solutions to many of today’s challenges. The Innovation Award recognizes those whose hard work, determination, and leadership propel the industry forward and help transform the idea of a sustainable future into a reality.”
Entries for the 2022 Innovation Award must represent new innovations that have not been previously submitted for this award. Eligible innovations include finished products, chemistries, initiatives, training or education programs, processes, and processing equipment that have entered the market for the first time between June 17, 2020, and June 16, 2022.
CPI will present the Innovation Award at the conclusion of the 2022 Polyurethanes Technical Conference, which takes place at the Gaylord National Harbor in National Harbor, Md., on October 3-5. Companies or individuals must submit an application no later than 5 p.m. EDT on June 16, 2022. Entry requirements and the application for the Polyurethane Innovation Award are available on the Innovation Award submission form.
