Panacol has expanded its portfolio of dual-curing acrylic adhesives with the introduction of Vitralit® UD 8052 F, a low-viscosity, one-component UV-curable adhesive.
The division will reportedly provide the electric vehicle market with products such as thermally conductive potting compounds and adhesives, potting and encapsulating compounds, UL-listed 94 V-O potting compounds, UV-curable coatings and adhesives, and circuit and assembly adhesives.

The potting of electronic components involves filling the assembly with a compound such as liquid resin (e.g., epoxy, silicone, polyurethane) to protect it from environmental or use conditions like moisture, humidity, and vibration. Any air entrapment in the potting compound can result in air bubbles that may cause performance problems in the finished component.
This thermally conductive compound reportedly offers high dielectric properties with a volume resistivity of 1,015 ohm-cm.
