ACE Production Technologies Inc. is a designer and manufacturer of selective soldering systems used in assembly applications.

The companies reportedly have combined annual net sales of approximately $42 million.

RPM International Inc. recently announced that it has acquired the foam division of Clayton Corp.

The acquisition represents a step in broadening its steel flow control offerings.

“The successful completion of the acquisition paves the way for swiftly merging the activities of Evonik and the acquired units of the Air Products Performance Materials business,” said Klaus Engel, chairman of the executive board of Evonik Industries AG.

Located in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, SPS will operate as part of RPM’s Rust-Oleum European business.

Cadence Chemical’s management team, led by John Wilson, will remain in place.

This will enable Evonik to expand its position in North America and Asia.

As part of the transaction, MACtac will reportedly maintain its manufacturing bases in the U.S. and Mexico.

As of this month, the company will adopt a new brand identity as Robnor Resinlab.
